The next time you’re in the yard, head directly to your left to find another quest marker. Choose the ‘the latter’ option when he asks you about a jailbreak, and he’ll offer his help. The closest objective is directly above you and it’ll provide a tutorial for Osvald’s daytime Path Action: Scrutinize. The three quest markers on the map will show you exactly where to go for each step of the plan. Now that you have free time in the yard, you’ll need to finalize the three remaining parts of the escape plan mentioned above. Osvald has been writing down his escape plan in that notebook, and only three pieces of his plan need reviewing at this point: the escape route, suitable clothing, and an accomplice. Of course, the warden gets violent, but Osvald uses the situation to gain valuable information about their response time. You won’t be able to use magic just yet since Osvald is muzzled, but you can still attack with your Staff weapon for an easy win.Īfter losing, the cellmate will yell to attract Warden Davids and the other guards. This story contains far less exploration and combat than most since Osvald can’t leave the prison yet – the setup and plot are at the forefront in this chapter. We jump forward five years, now inside the Frigit Isle prison. Despite the verdict, Osvald swears revenge on a man named Harvey, implying that he is the true culprit. Osvald is found guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment in a location called Frigit Isle. No evidence of a natural fire could be found, so Osvald is accused of using flame magic to murder his family. According to the prosecutor, there was a fire and their bodies were pulled from the rubble. Osvald’s tale opens on a dark situation – the scholar is in a courtroom where he’s currently on trial for the murders of his wife and daughter. ![]()
